I've been a patient at CCHC for the past two years. I typically visit the Medical Plaza location, but this was my first time at the Central Avenue clinic. The clinic was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The check-in process was quick, the front desk staff were friendly, and the wait time was minimal. During my visit, I saw Israel Mendez, PA, who was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. What I appreciate most about CCHC is their consultative approach to care. Rather than rushing through appointments, the clinicians take the time to understand your concerns, ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and work with you to determine the best next steps. Whether it's ordering labs, prescribing medication, recommending testing, or making referrals, I always feel like my care plan is tailored to my needs. Every clinician I've seen at CCHC has made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. As a patient, that's really all you can ask for. I highly recommend CCHC to anyone looking for quality primary care.

From the very moment of my arrival, I felt like a welcome guest. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and efficient, and the registration process was smooth and fast. The waiting time was minimal compared to other emergency care centers. The nurse and doctor who examined me were very professional, attentive and showed sincere concern. The doctor took his time, listened attentively to all my symptoms, asked clarifying questions and explained the treatment plan in detail. I felt like I was being listened to and really taken care of. The clinic itself is very clean and cozy. All the staff is working together and with all their heart to help the patients recover.

I needed to see my PCP (Primary Care Practicioner)immediately, but she was booked for a month ahead of time. I was told that CCHC(Central Ave) would be having a walk-in clinic between 8 am and 5 pm. I was able to make it over there and was seen almost right away. From the moment that I walked in and registered, then taken in back for my vitals and inquiry as to medical needs, my care was absolutely beyond reproach. From their kindness, their professionalism, and their genuine care, I could not have asked for and received any better possible care. They took their time with me and genuinely listened to what I had to say. If you've been avoiding medical treatment and care because of the exorbitant prices and less than caring practitioners, I would strongly suggest that you take the opportunity to sign up for, and see if you are eligible to receive services from them. Medicare, Medicaid, and sliding-scale, there are multiple options available to suit almost any financial situation. You won't regret it.
